The historically significant St Thomas Rest Park is renowned for being the first European cemetery site on Sydney's North Shore. Nowadays, locals regularly flock here - the largest park in the densely populated Crows Nest area.
Park features include:
- the Sexton's Cottage, dating from around 1850, which was restored and opened as a museum in 1985
- an interpretive history trail with signage
- a custom, fully fenced playground with a retro theme
- many monuments and headstones scattered around the park
- public toilets, a bubbler
- seats, picnic tables
Dogs are welcome but are not permitted within 10 metres of the playground.
