Maccallum Pool, on the western side of Cremorne Point, is a unique 33-metre harbourside pool with heritage character and superb views.
Cleaning schedule
Because the pool is above the high-water mark and it is filled with water directly from the harbour, it needs to be regularly cleaned.
The pool is cleaned once a week (tide dependent) and requires closure to reduce the health and safety risks of an empty or half-full pool. Once the pool is refilled to an adequate level it is reopened to the public.
The pool is closed for cleaning on the following dates:
February
- from Thursday 13 February 12am, until Friday 14 February 7am
- from Tuesday 18 February 2.30am, until Wednesday 19 February 7am
- from Wednesday 26 February 10.30am, until Thursday 28 February 7am
March
- from Tuesday 4 March 2am, until Wednesday 5 March 7am
- from Tuesday 11 March 10am, until Wednesday 12 March 7am
- from Monday 17 March 1am, until Tuesday 18 March 7am
- from Tuesday 25 March 8.30am, until Wednesday 26 March 7am
- from Monday 31 March 10pm, until Tuesday 1 April 7am
