Residents can enjoy free classes including Pilates, yoga, meditation, and strength training at the stunning waterfront Coal Loader Platform every Wednesday until 26 March 2025.
Join our free wellbeing classes every Wednesday morning at 7.30am from October to March.
The stunning waterfront Coal Loader Platform will host a variety of classes for local residents, suitable for all levels of experience, and open to all abilities.
Disciplines vary each week (yoga, strength training, Tai Chi, Pilates, meditation and mindfulness). Check which discipline is on each week via the booking link.
Please ensure that you will be able to attend, and if something comes up, please cancel your booking so that others may take your place in this popular series. Bookings are strictly limited and if you are a no-show for two bookings, you will not be able to re-book this season.
What to bring?
All you need to bring is your mat, a reusable drink bottle, your keep cup (if you plan on grabbing coffee afterwards), and an open mind as we get set to bring you a great new wellness experience each week. No need to print a ticket- you will be digitally signed in.
What if it’s raining?
We endeavour to host these sessions rain, hail or shine, so in the event of poor weather the sessions will be moved to under the ramp on The Platform or into the Coal Loader Cottage (Genia McCaffery Centre), however, indoor space is a little more restricted so places will be allocated to ticketholders on a first-come-first-served basis.
How to get there?
The Platform is located at 2 Balls Head Drive, Waverton and is just an 8-minute easy walk from Waverton Station. There are bike racks on site, or if you are driving you can utilise the free 4-hour parking on Balls Head Road.
Tickets become available at 9am the week prior to each occurrence.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to have your name ticked off the list and hear the briefing.
