A fun, hands-on session where kids (and parents!) can brush up on bike control skills, learn the rules for sharing paths, and ride together.
Got a young rider (8-15 years old) who needs a confidence boost? Join us for a fun, hands-on session where kids (and parents!) can brush up on bike control skills, learn the rules for sharing paths, and ride together.
Skills covered:
- bike safety checks
- mounting and dismounting with ease
- using brakes and gears smoothly
- communicating with other riders and pedestrians
- sharing paths safely and respectfully
- fun games to improve balance and control
Parents are encouraged to join in—because biking is better when we learn together!
What to bring:
- your own roadworthy bike and helmet
Children can book without a parent as long as they are over 8 years of age and have a parent present during the skills session.
A maximum of one parent may accompany each child during the session due to number restrictions.
This workshop is being run by bicycle education experts Pedal, Set, Go.
