Discover the tale of the frontier resistance warfare during the Wiradyuri Wars of Resistance with award-winning author Stephen Gapps.
In Uprising, award-winning author Stephen Gapps reveals the incredible story of the frontier Wiradyuri Wars of Resistance for the first time. Learn the breadth of these two wars conducted along a huge area of the Murray-Darling river system during the 1800's, across many First Nations’ lands, in a concerted defence of River Country. At the time, it was seen by many contemporaries as a coordinated ‘uprising’.
