Discover the secrets of North Sydney’s precious bushland reserves with free activities these school holidays.

Families can enjoy a number of opportunities to explore local bushland, and learn about local plants and animals.

Join a guided walk of Balls Head Reserve, the iconic jewel of Sydney Harbour, or learn about the Traditional Custodians of our land, the Cammeraygal people, on a tour of Berry Island Reserve. See local native wildlife up close with Australian Wildlife Displays, and then join a spotlight walk around Balls Head Reserve. Or play a game of Twitter Bingo and spot as many local native birds as you can see!

Sunday 7 July – Guided bushwalk around Balls Head Reserve (for ages 12+)

Tuesday 9 July – Guided bushwalk around the Gadyan Track, Berry Island Reserve

Thursday 11 July – Native animal display and guided spotlight walk around Balls Head Reserve

Friday 12 July – Twitter Bingo at the Coal Loader
