The State Government’s draft proposal to rezone parts of St Leonards and Crows Nest is now available for public feedback.
Under the proposed changes, the NSW Department of Planning has identified precincts around designated transport hubs for accelerated rezoning as part of its Transport Oriented Development (TOD) Program. There are eight of these precincts around the state, including the area around the new Sydney Metro Crows Nest Station.
The Government’s proposed changes are now on public exhibition. Council is encouraging the local community to review the draft proposal and provide feedback directly to the Department of Planning.
Feedback is being accepted until Friday 16 August.
The NSW Department of Planning is hosting community information sessions to explain the proposal and answer your questions at the following times:
- Tuesday 30 July, 5.30pm to 6.30pm (online)
- Thursday 1 August, 4pm to 7pm (in person)
- Tuesday 6 August, 4pm to 7pm (in person)
Find out more about the details of the proposal and information sessions, and submit your feedback, at the link below.
