Submission deadline extended for Crows Nest rezoning proposal

An artist's impression of possible future development at Crows Nest

You now have until 5pm, Friday 30 August to give your feedback to the State Government on its proposal to rezone parts of St Leonards and Crows Nest.

The NSW Department of Planning is seeking community feedback on its plans for the area around the new Sydney Metro Crows Nest Station. The precinct is one of eight transport hubs around the state that the government has identified for ‘accelerated rezoning’ as part of its Transport Oriented Development (TOD) Program.

The government has extended the submission deadline (previously 16 August) until Friday 30 August, citing “the level of interest in the proposals and the wish of many residents to provide input”.

We are encouraging residents and other community members to review the draft proposal and provide feedback directly to the Department of Planning at the link below.

Have your say

Council will be considering a report and draft submission, prepared by our planners, at its meeting on 26 August.
