North Sydney will host three managed access vantage points for viewing the fireworks: Bradfield Park, Blues Point Reserve, and Lavender Bay Parklands.

Entry to these sites will be free-of-charge but have capacity limits and will close once full, with no re-entry permitted. Nearby roads will also experience closures and special event clearways, so it’s important to plan ahead.

Non-managed foreshore parks, such as Waverton Park and Cremorne Point, will remain open but are alcohol-free zones. Additional safety measures, including portable toilets and extra bins, will be in place.

This year, Balls Head Reserve will close for the event at 10pm on 30 December for vehicles and 12pm on 31 December for pedestrians, and will reopen on 1 January.
