Artist in Residence Pilot Program at North Sydney Community Centre

Art studio with stainless steel worktops

Council, in partnership with the North Sydney Community Centre (NSCC), is excited to announce the launch of the Artist in Residence Pilot Program.

This unique initiative offers a creative practitioner a dedicated studio space at NSCC, in exchange for delivering hands-on creative workshops for the NSCC After School Care Program.

The residency will run during Term 2 of 2025, from 28 April to 4 July. It aligns with the Council’s Cultural and Creative Strategy, enhancing community engagement in the arts while providing affordable creative spaces for artists. The program will also serve as a model for future Artist in Residence opportunities.

Who Should Apply?

  • Creative practitioners including visual artists, performers, media artists, and those exploring new technologies.
