View current out of hours works approved by Council

The following works are scheduled to take place outside of approved construction hours.

Council only approves work outside approved construction hours in specific circumstances. Examples include overnight shop fit-outs or where demolition, excavation or erection of structures may be a risk to public safety during daylight hours.

Approved hours of work

The approved hours of work for a specific development site are contained in the Development Consent.

You can view the Development Consent for each site via our application tracker.

Please note, we are not the only authority who can approve out of hours works. There may be additional approved works we are not aware of (for emergencies, water works etc).

For two weeks from Monday 23 March, Monday-Friday 7am-5pm, Saturday 8am-2pm.

 

Albany St, Willoughby Rd, Crows Nest

Council has approved a film permit in accordance with the NSW Local Government Film Protocol, following a thorough assessment to ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and community expectations.
As part of this process, Council’s Traffic Team has carefully reviewed the proposed activity, including traffic management plans, vehicle movements, crew operations, parking arrangements, and any anticipated impacts on local roads or pedestrian access.

  2.  Willoughby Rd, Crows Nest


Filming date/time:

Date: 27 March, 2026

Time: 1:30pm to 8:30pm


Parking/barricading to commence from 7am and vacated by 8:30pm:

  •   15 parking spaces to be taken up on Albany Street
  •   4 parking spaces on Willoughby Rd


Traffic requirements

All potential issues—such as noise, brief interruptions to traffic flow, or changes to usual access—have been fully considered, and appropriate mitigation measures have been put in place to minimise disruption to residents, businesses, and visitors.
With these controls in place and the production is required to adhere to strict conditions that the filming activity will proceed safely, efficiently, and with minimal impact on the surrounding community.
