Two new raised pedestrian and bicycle crossings are being installed on Young Street and Grosvenor Street Intersection replacing the roundabout.
The raised intersection will improve safety of all road users and pedestrians by enhancing the visibility of pedestrians and slowing vehicles at the crossing. These works also include extending the stormwater drainage along both streets.
Works will commence Monday 24 February 2025, occurring between 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 4pm Saturday. Due to wet weather and excavation, works have been extended by one week to conclude on Monday 31 March.
Please be aware that the site and surrounding area is very dusty and noisy due to underground excavation.
