A cycleway path is being constructed along Young Street between Grosvenor to Sutherland Street in Neutral Bay, connecting to the two new raised pedestrian and bicycle crossings along the Young and Grosvenor Street intersection.
Works will commence on Monday 24 March 2025 and are scheduled to be completed within 6 weeks (weather and other factors permitting).
The upgrade works include construction of the cycleway, stormwater drainage, footpath upgrade and a pedestrian and bicycle crossing at the intersection of Sutherland Sreet.
Steps will be taken to maintain pedestrian and vehicle access during the works.
There will be periods of time where public access will be unavailable, however, local traffic and residents will be provided access and traffic control personnel will be on site to assist.
