Our Bushland team can help if you are dealing with wildlife problems on your property. Contact them via our Customer Service Centre during office hours for advice or a site inspection.
The Department of Environment and Heritage and the Australian Museum provide detailed information and some management tips for a range of native species, including:
- Australian brush turkeys
- Brush-tailed and ringtail possums
- Magpies, butcherbirds and cockatoos
- Grey-headed flying-foxes
While some people may view these animals as pests, all native wildlife is protected under the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016 and it’s an offence to harm them. This includes interfering with life-cycle processes such as breeding.
