Conditions of entry

Entrants must be aged between 11-18 years old as of Sunday 27 April 2025, and a resident of the Sydney NSW metropolitan area
Each entry must be an original work, to be accompanied by an entry form. There is a limit of one entry per person
Submissions may be a poem or a short story (of no more than 750 words)
Stanton Library is authorised to display any entry and to publish all or part of an entry
Stanton Library must receive each entry no later than 11.59pm on Sunday 27 April 2025
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
Submissions will be run through plagiarism and AI checking software. Entries need to be unlocked, not handwritten and not unable to be copied
If sensitive topics are included in your story, a trigger warning MUST also be included at the top of the page or your entry will be disqualified.
