Important information about submitting an application
- After submitting a completed application and paying the $200 application fee, Customer Service will issue a permit number. This number must be used as the reference in the subject line of all email correspondence, and emails without the permit number may not receive a response.
- Once the permit number has been issued, the application will be reviewed by the permits team, who will provide further information by email, including any applicable fees. All correspondence must be conducted by email, not by phone, and once the initial application has been lodged with Customer Service, all further correspondence should be sent to permits@northsydney.nsw.gov.au.
- If an application is incomplete, applicants may be required to lodge a new application and their requested dates may no longer be available. Applicants should only submit documents relevant to the specific works and note that permit extensions require at least three days’ notice, with no same-day extension requests accepted.
