The final fees will be calculated by Council.
Application fee
An application fee of $1990.00 must be paid in full before a permit is considered.
Security deposit
A $25,000 security deposit is required for the works zone and must be submitted with the application.

Additional fees
Additional fees must be paid in conjunction with the security deposit and may include:
- works zone meterage fee
- parking meter and sensor removal fee
- line marking fee (only if required)

16 weeks x 10 metres x $125 (unmetered parallel parking in a commercial area) per linear metre = $20,000

Painted lines
Fee: $145 per linear metre
Only required for defining spaces (e.g. small works zones)
Parking meter areas
Parking meter temporary removal/relocation: $2,500 per parking meter
Parking sensor areas
Parking sensor removal and replacement: $920 per sensor
Reinstallation of signs
Fee: $550
If your works zone has expired and you have not paid an extension fee, the signposts will be removed. If the signs have been removed and you wish to extend, a tax invoice will be issued for the new period and a reinstallation fee of $550 will also apply.
This fee also applies if you modify the size of the works zone and the signs need to be reinstalled to accommodate for this.
